The baroque ensemble Concerto München has earned itself an excellent reputation in the few years of its existence.
Founded in 2016 by the organist and harpsichordist Johannes Berger, the young period instrument ensemble consistently delights audiences and critics with its refreshing virtuosity and infectious joy of music-making.
It is the outstanding potential of the individual musicians and the high level of mutual appreciation that make the internationally cast ensemble unique. Prestigious awards and prizes, such as those won at the Early Music Competition in Bruges, the Biagio Marini Competition and the Grand Prix Bach de Lausanne, are testament to the calibre of the individual members. The ensemble regularly works with renowned choirs and vocal ensembles such as the Tölzer Knabenchor and the Heinrich-Schütz-Ensemble Vornbach, as well as with leading soloists.
