Kai Gergov makes his debut with the Wiener Symphoniker

At just 16, violinist Kai Gergov has been selected as one of the four WSY-Talente 2026 and will make his debut as a soloist with the Wiener Symphoniker at the Wiener Konzerthaus on 11 October 2026.

The Wiener Symphoniker selected Kai Gergov as one of their four WSY-Talente 2026 together with violinist Ariana Yuki Resch and cellists Franz Winkler and Theresa Sayuri Brunner. The four young musicians were chosen by a specialist jury from a total of 39 applicants.

Organised in cooperation with prima la musica, the WSY-Talent award supports outstanding young musicians on their path towards a professional career and gives them the opportunity to perform as soloists with the Wiener Symphoniker.
