Giulia Rimonda will make her debut with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz in February 2027, performing Beethoven’s Triple Concerto in two concerts in Mainz and Mannheim.

A major German debut

The Italian violinist joins the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz for two performances under the direction of Rossen Gergov. The concerts form part of a project in cooperation with Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz, bringing together three distinguished young soloists for one of Beethoven’s most remarkable concertante works.

Beethoven’s Triple Concerto

Rimonda will perform the violin part in Beethoven’s Triple Concerto in C major, Op. 56, alongside pianist Martina Consonni and cellist Maximilian Hornung. The work’s unusual dialogue between three soloists and orchestra places chamber-music interaction at the centre of a large symphonic canvas.

The project marks Giulia Rimonda’s debut with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz and an important new engagement in Germany.
